Knight Online Cheats vs Koxp: Differences and Ban Risk

Everything that comes up in a “Knight Online cheats” search gets lumped together: wallhack, speed hack, dupe, koxp. They are different things with different risks. This page separates the terms, talks openly about ban risk and explains what KOF is and is not.

Kinds of cheats: what changes what?

The programs players call “cheats” bend the game’s rules from three different places:

  • Wallhack, dupe, damage hack: they corrupt the game itself or the data sent to the server; the group with the heaviest detection and penalties
  • Speed hack, teleport: they move faster than the game allows; measured on the server side
  • Macro: repeats keys, does not alter the game; looks the same as manual play
  • Koxp / bot: runs the character, does farm, mining, upgrade and Merchant work; does not alter the game’s data

Who carries the ban risk?

Knight Online’s terms of use forbid third-party programs of every kind; that includes koxp, and the ban decision belongs to the game alone. So every product that promises a “ban-proof cheat” or a “100% safe koxp” is not telling you the truth. KOF does not guarantee you will not be banned either; instead it explains how you manage the risk.

Reducing the risk

The rules players have learned over the years are simple:

  • Bot with an account you can afford to lose, not with your main character
  • Do not run a cheat that alters the game’s data together with a koxp; the risks add up
  • Monitor the bot remotely: death, disconnect and Inventory notifications reveal a stuck character
  • Do not start an outdated bot after a game update; the KOF Launcher handles this itself

What KOF does and does not do

KOF is a Knight Online koxp: it runs your character for you on USKO, SteamKO and CNKO and is monitored from the web and Telegram. It contains no wallhack, dupe or damage hack and sells none. For the security of your account on the KOF side there is two-factor authentication, e-mail verification and Telegram notification; the fate of your game account depends on the game’s rules and on how you use the bot.

Frequently asked questions

Does a koxp count as a cheat?

Under the game’s rules, yes: every third-party program is forbidden. Technically a koxp does not alter the game’s data, it runs the character; but the game decides the penalty and a koxp falls within its scope.

Is KOF ban-proof?

No, no koxp is ban-proof and KOF makes no such promise. What we can do is keep the bot up to date and give you remote monitoring and notifications; managing the risk depends on how you use it.

Are free “online cheat” files safe?

Usually not. Freely distributed cheat and bot files often carry password stealers or crypto miners. The KOF Launcher is downloaded only from the link e-mailed after purchase.

Is speed hack part of a koxp?

Some bots have a movement-speed setting and it is measured on the server side; using it raises the risk. In KOF the setting is optional and not needed for farm, mining or upgrade.
